Two Hospitals Support Heart Association with Weekend Fundraiser

Staff members from Mercy Medical Center—Sioux City and St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center will square off for a bowl-a-thon and pool tournament this Saturday at Lewis Bowl South. They will cap the event with a dance that will be open to the public. Proceeds from the March for Hearts event will benefit the American Heart Association.

Teams from the two hospitals will compete in a bowling tournament from noon to 5:00 p.m. Members of each hospital’s senior leadership team will compete in a “bowl off” game at 5:00 p.m. The public is welcome to watch the competition at any time.

The popular local band Dr. Dendrite and the Twisted Synapses will play for a dance in the Lewis Bowl Annex starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the dance are $10 each and will be available at the door.
