Mercy offers cholesterol screenings on an on-going basis, year-round. Complete cholesterol panels require a 10-12 fast prior to the screening. You should also refrain from alcohol use during that period. The cholesterol screenings are available Monday through Friday at three different locations: Mercy Heart Center (5th Floor) from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.; Mercy Dunes Medical Laboratories at 350 W. Anchor Drive in Dakota Dunes from 7:00 a.m. to Noon; and at Mercy Urgent Care, 3500 Singing Hills Blvd, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. No appointment is needed. The cost is $12.
