65+ Medicare Advantage
New Medicare Advantage Plans
The University of Iowa Health Alliance has collaborated with insurance carriers to focus on what matters most: better-coordinated care at lower costs. As a member of the alliance, we’re pleased to offer new Medicare Advantage plans for adults 65+ years in our service area, which include the following Iowa counties: Benton, Cedar, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Dallas, Johnson, Keokuk, Kossuth, Linn, Polk, Scott, Warren, Winnebago and Worth.
Your local health care providers – backed by Iowa’s only academic medical center.
With a Health Alliance Medicare plan, you get more than with a Medicare Supplement, like the SilverSneakers® fitness program, the Anytime Nurse Line and Assist America for worry-free traveling. With a PPO plan, you can use any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare, but you’ll pay less when you stay in the Health Alliance Medicare network.
You might think all that would cost more than a Medicare Supplement plan. It doesn’t. In fact, you could save $300 a year in premiums alone in 2015 with Health Alliance Medicare.*
Along with that big savings from Health Alliance Medicare, you also get:
- $0 Tier 1 generic drugs at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
- The care you need, when you’re sick and when you’re well.
- Top-notch customer service right here in the Midwest.
- Programs that save you money and keep you healthy.
