Tracy R. Larson, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Mercy Medical Center, has announced two key appointments to the hospital’s clinical staff.
Chad Millikan RN, BSN has been named Manager of Clinical Services for the three Intensive Care Units (ICU) at Mercy.
Millikan has worked in the Mercy ICU for seven years. Prior to working at Mercy he worked in management roles at Gateway. Millikan obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing from WITCC and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University and has been involved in several performance improvement initiatives at Mercy through the years.
Lori Bourassa has been appointed to the position of Manager of Clinical Services for Behavioral Health. This includes the Mercy Pathways department and Chemical Dependency Outpatient Services.
Ms. Bourassa has worked in Behavioral Health at Mercy for the past four years. She obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of South Dakota and is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University, graduating in early 2012. Bourassa will then start working for an advanced degree from the University of Cincinnati as a mental health nurse practitioner.
