Tracey Badar Named Director of Nutritional Care Services at Mercy
Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City announces the appointment of Executive Chef Tracey Badar as Director of Nutritional Care Services. In this expanded role, Badar will provide general direction and leadership for the overall operation of the NCS Department and the Mercy Café including taking on a leadership and project management role in designing and implementing a room service delivery model organization wide.
“Chef Tracey embraces this growth opportunity to demonstrate how the redesign of Nutritional Care Services will enhance the Patient/Family experience at Mercy,” said Linda Krei, VP Support Services/CHRO.
Badar earned his Associate degree in Occupational Studies at the Culinary Institute of America and his Associate degree in Applied Science at Joliet Junior College. He has personally prepared gourmet meals for President Clinton and Governor Janklow and has received numerous awards for his culinary skills.
