At the MercyOne Dakota Dunes Breast Center, we have been providing mammography and related women’s imaging since 1989. We focus on all aspects of women's breast health and have established a reputation for excellence in breast care in the Siouxland area. 

Our services include 2Dand 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, pelvic/OB ultrasound,ultrasound guided breast biopsy and stereotactic guided breast biopsy. In addition to these services, MercyOne Dakota Dunes Breast Center also provides bone density testing, also known as Dexascan. This is a safe and easy test that can diagnose the health of your bones, your risk of future fractures, and your risk of developing osteoporosis.

The MercyOne Dakota Dunes Breast Center is the only ACR Breast Center of Excellence in the area. This designation represents ACR accreditation in mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy and breast MRI. Our board certified radiologists, Dr. Fahima Qalbani, Dr. Adnan Qalbani and Dr. Jill Vecchio, are the most experienced in Siouxland. 

Our office hours are: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Digital mammography services are provided at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in downtown Sioux City.

Please call 712-279-2552 to make an appointment. Mammography services are available from 7 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. Valet parking is available nearby, or free parking is available in the MercyOne Parking Ramp, with access from Fifth Street or Sixth Street.
