Each month October through May, Mercy will host a one-hour presentation on health care issues relevant to Siouxland.  Along with the presentations, you will have the opportunity to receive free health screenings and giveaways.  Future presentations include:

Tuesday, November 27, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, "Antibiotics or Not? That is the Question" will be presented by Dr. Steve Joyce, MD of Mercy Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic.  He will address when antibiotics should or should not be given for illness. 

Tuesday, December 11, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, "The Skin You're In," is a presentation on skin care, featuring Dermatologist, Dr. Michele Daffer. 

Tuesday, January 22, 2013, Dr. Tom Benzoni will address "The ER, Use it, But Don't Abuse it." 

Tuesday, Feburary 26, the topic is "High Tech Wound Care", featuring Dr. Paul Johnson of Mercy's Wound Care Center. 

Tuesday, March 26 , the topic will be "Ouch, Caring for Chronic Pain" and Dr. Nauman of Mercy's Pain Clinic will be the speaker. 

Tuesday, April 23, Dr. Larry Sellers will speak on "Alzheimer's and Dementia." 

Tuesday, May 28, you will learn about "Planning your Advanced Directives."
