Employee Assistance Program
Policy and Program Development
In cooperation with management and labor, our staff will assist
you in developing an EAP policy and procedure to address personal
problems that affect on-the-job performance. This policy will be
coordinated with existing personnel policies and disciplinary procedures.
The EAP policy should reflect the employee's responsibility for
correcting any job performance problems. Recommendations will be
made regarding policy and procedural actions required to assure
optimal program implementation and effective options for the troubled
employee.
Drug-Free Workplace
Using our knowledge and experience regarding substance abuse, Mercy's
EAP consults on a variety of drug-free workplace issues, including
policy and program development, supervisory training, employee education
and drug testing procedures and laboratory selection. We will assure
that your company is in compliance with the Department of Transportation
regulations and state laws.
Violence in the Workplace
Mercy EAP will assist your company with the policy
and/or program development for a violence-free workplace. We provide
consultation and recommendations on policy development, supervisory
training, risk assessments, fitness for duty exams and employee
training to reduce your company's liability should an incident occur. |
