Celebrate the Birth of Your Baby
We offer sensitive, personalized care by an expert staff that is committed to the health of women and their families. At the same time, we are designated a Level II Center for advanced perinatal care. Our nurses have an average of 18 years experience assisting with labor, birth, early parenting and helping nursing mothers get a good start on breastfeeding. All registered nurses are certified in basic life support (BCLS), advanced life support (ACLS), and neonatal resuscitation (NRP). When you’re ready to show off your new baby to friends down the block or around the world, we’ll post his or her photo on Babies Online. The web site is completely secure and safe. Your baby’s photo will be posted only with your permission. If you are expecting a baby or are preparing for pregnancy, we invite you to learn why Mercy Family Birth Center is the perfect place to have your baby. From our classes and services to our private labor/delivery/recovery suites to the sophisticated capabilities of our Special Care Nursery, we are dedicated to providing the very best for you and your family. When the time arrives for the birth of your baby, you may enter Mercy Medical Center through the Jones street circle drive entrance (6th & Jones street) from 4:30 am – 9 pm. After 9:00 pm, please enter through the Emergency Room off of 6th Street. Personnel will escort you to the Family Birth Center. The Family Birth Center is located on the 9th floor off of Elevator B. |
