if you can get specialized treatment for trauma or a serious
medical illness within one hour, your chances of survival are
much greater.
If you become a member of Mercy Air Care, you can be secure in
knowing that you will be keeping the MAC helicopter flying for
you and your family…and for the rest of the community as
well.
MAC Membership is for the Lives You Cherish
By becoming a Mercy Air Care member, your donations enhance the
MAC program and provide life-saving equipment and grants to local
emergency service agencies.
Depending on the distance, MAC transport and patient care charges
can exceed $10,000. But MAC members pay virtually nothing. For
only $50 a year, you can receive a membership that allows you,
your spouse and your dependents to be transported, when medically
necessary, by Mercy Air Care. Your insurance company is billed
directly for the air transport so you will incur no out-of-pocket
expenses.

Membership Benefits
- MAC will bill
your insurance company directly for any medically necessary flight
you take, and we will accept their payment,
regardless of the amount, as paid in full on your account.
- MAC will cover all
air medical transport expenses if you do not have medical insurance.
- At
your request, MAC will donate 10% of your membership fee to the
local ambulance, fire department, first responder unit
or other emergency service agency you designate in your community.
- You will receive recognition for your contribution and support
annually in the Mercy Honor Roll of Donors.
