Audiology Services

The following hearing tests are available at Mercy Rehabilitation Audiology Department. Evaluations are conducted by a licensed, certified audiologist. For more information or referrals, call Mercy Rehabilitation Audiology Department at (712) 279-2576.

  • Complete Hearing Evaluation
    -     Pure tone testing
    - Speech audiometry
    - Complete impedance testing
  • Hearing Screen
    -     Air conduction
    - Impedance screen
  • Ototoxic Monitoring
  • Eighth Nerve Studies
  • Nonorganic Hearing Evaluations
  • Industrial Employee Hearing Screens - OSHA compliance
  • Hearing aid evaluations and recommendations for amplification, when appropriate, are available. Mercy Rehabilitation does not sell hearing aids.
  • Infant Hearing Screening
    -     Otoacoustic emission testing is offered to all newborns at Mercy Medical Center
